Austrian 2. Liga
steps on board
Analysis, categorisation and optimisation:
we at Die Ligen GmbH now accompany the Austrian 2. Liga with a comprehensive tactical feed coverage
and hereby provide the clubs with the foundation for tactical analysis.
We at Die Ligen GmbH have won the right to comprehensively produce the Austrian 2. Liga. During the 2019/20 season all 16 clubs will be equipped with our tactical feed and thus enjoy optimal conditions to conduct in-depth analysis.
Our areas of coverage such as the tipico Bundesliga, ÖFB Youth League U18/U16, Planet Pure Women’s Bundesliga, U14 Junior Championship and qualification games of the Austrian national teams will therefore be enhanced by an additional significant competition.
Trial packs for clubs
The market analysis conducted in October 2018 indicated high demand and popularity for our service. Thanks to a trial period, the clubs of the 2. Liga were able to test the product and apply it to their own game.
The tactically-focussed match recordings represent an important addition to the previously available video material. The clear presentation of formation, shape, movement, offensive/defensive patterns and ball circulation enable the coaches and analysts to compare all match situations, independent of location.
In the 2nd half of the season the clubs were also accompanied personally by Die Ligen employees and provided with analytical advice. With the support of the various analysis products, the quality of analysis was refined step by step.
In the club conference in June came the official announcement of our comprehensive coverage as we came out on top against other competitors. Our strong work in the tipico Bundesliga over the past two years has therefore reaped its rewards and in the 2019/20 season we will produce all 240 games in the 2. Liga.
Alongside the tactically-focussed videos, ourAdvanced analysis package is also called into action in the 2. Liga.
This entails a thematic categorisation of the 90 minutes into individual match clips, in which the focus is on quality rather than quantity.
In this way the first stage of analysis takes place, namely an evaluation based on tactical criteria. The match situations are categorised by content and made available to the coach and/or analyst. The work is conducted by a team of trained analysts who categorise and tactically evaluate every single action as well as grouping together and precisely tagging match clips comprised of several actions. As a result of this, complex tactical relationships are able to be portrayed in extensive detail.
