LIGEN.analytics remains match analysis partner of División de Honor Juvenil
LIGEN.analytics and the Spanish Football Federation RFEF extend agreement for tactical recordings of the Spanish U19 elite league División de Honor Juvenil.
LIGEN.analytics has accompanied the División de Honor Juvenil since 2018 with tactical recordings for match analysis. In the 2021/22 season, around 2,000 matches in the highest tier of Spanish youth football will be recorded with LIGEN.analytics cameras. The partnership between LIGEN.analytics and the RFEF forms the basis of the analysis for clubs in the División de Honor as well as for the coaches of the Spanish national youth teams.
Those responsible for the national youth teams of the “furia roja” highly appreciate this partnership,, as Francis Hernández, coordinator of the national youth teams, explains: “LIGEN.analytics offers an essential tool that perfectly complements our need to view all potentially eligible players […] and LIGEN.analytics brings us closer to them. They provide us with a perfect platform for our work.”
Former professional player and current Under-17 national team coach Julen Guerrero is also very familiar with the platform. The former Spain international of the 90s regularly uses the LIGEN.analytics platform, which allows him to “monitor each of our players on a weekly basis, which is very important in order to follow the continuous development of each player and to fine-tune the selection of players at the times we need them”.
Carlos Köhler, Executive Manager of LIGEN Spain, says that the German company is “very proud that the RFEF continues to rely on our services for the fourth year running”. Even in the most complicated year in recent history, in which the world was hit by the corona pandemic, LIGEN continued to provide a professional and reliable service in several European countries, including Spain. “We are confident that this will be an important partnership that will continue to grow in the years to come”.
The partnership between the RFEF and LIGEN.analytics represents the continuation of a collaboration through which the Spanish Football Federation, as it says itself, aims to further professionalise a league on the cusp of professional football and to provide all the key players in the División de Honor Juvenil with the necessary tools to ensure that Spanish football continues to grow and establish itself at the top of Europe.
